Nursery (age 0-2)

Drop off your child at the nursery, located beside the Chapel, during the Sunday morning worship service!  We have a group of fully qualified and fun volunteers willing to take care of your child. Just don’t forget to pick them up after the service…

Shine Kids (age 3-Kindergarten, previously Toddler Time)

Children are dismissed during the service. Parents/guardians are asked to sign in their children in the Youth Room. After the worship service, the children need to be signed out and picked up in the Nursery Department located in the Lower Level.

Children are lovingly attended by caring workers and are encouraged to participate in a variety of age appropriate activities including Bible stories, crafts, games, and singing.

Come often, or come occasionally... there is always room for one more!

VBS (Kindergarten to Grade 5)

Every summer we host a Vacation Bible School (VBS) event here at SEMC. It is five evenings of high energy learning for kids from all over Steinbach and the surrounding communities. We sing, play games, tell stories, have fun with Science experiments, and hear about God’s awesome love for us. At the end of the week, there is a program so the kids can show their parents what they have learned throughout the week.

Come and see the welcoming and friendly common-area, thanks to Michelle Klassen, Janette Koop and a wonderful team of volunteers, and check out the joy-filled hallways of the lower level Sunday School area, thanks to the creativity of Cheryl Nickel. Check it out, spread the word, encourage, be filled with joy and gratitude. Here's hoping for the next phase. Click on the picture to see more pictures of the mural.
