Pastor of Congregational Care & Outreach

Email

I spent most of my childhood years in Steinbach and grew up in SEMC. After graduating from high school in 1990, I took a year off before going to Bible College. It was there that I met Carly and we were married in 1993. I graduated from Briercrest Bible College in 1996 with a BA in Youth and Family Ministry and years later went back to Seminary. We have two young adult sons, Tysen and Rylen. I enjoy sports, especially hockey, golf and working out. My morning coffee and Bible reading are important to me. In my spare time, I like reading, listening to music and volunteering in the community! Its great being back in Steinbach and serving at SEMC in the role as Pastor of Congregational Care and Outreach. I love being a part of what God is doing here at SEMC and would look forward to personally welcoming you here!

I have attended and been a part of SEMC my whole life, and have been involved in many different ministries in the Church such as Sunday School teacher, Sunday School superintendent, Youth sponsor, Shine Kids leader, Deacon & Librarian. I love spending time with my husband, Craig, and our 2 teenaged children. We love to go for family walks and spend the majority of our May thru July evenings and weekends at the softball diamonds. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me as I continue to serve those who walk through SEMC’s doors!

I moved to Steinbach in my late teens after meeting my husband Brennan who grew up attending SEMC. Together we are raising four energetic young men who bring much hilarity to our lives. Some things I really enjoy are fishing with Brennan and the boys, going for a swim, baking and family movie nights! When I have the chance I love volunteering around the community and in church. It is an incredible honour to work as one of the administrative assistants here. Being able to serve others brings me great joy. I hope to grow in character and follow Christ’s leading in all I do. Jesus is my Rock and I want His light to shine through me!

Nordfried Schulze

Custodian

I was born in 1978 in Venezuela. In 1987 my family moved to Paraguay where I married my wife Karoline. In 2002, my wife, our son and I moved to Germany where we were blessed with another son in 2003. In 2006 we decided to move to Canada. As we started our life here over the past years we became a part of SEMC. Today we thank God that He gave us the opportunity to serve him as custodians at SEMC.

My inspiration that I want to share with you is: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
