Youth & Young Adults

At SEMC, we believe God can do amazing things in and through young people who are committed to following Jesus. We desire to see youth & young adults learn to understand how God and the Bible impact their daily lives. We seek to do this by creating an environment of openness and safety as we gather. We desire to become more like Jesus as we grow and we seek to reach out and share the Good News of Jesus with others as we go.

Youth

We gather, grow, and go through weekly gatherings that include games and Bible studies, service projects, small group nights and fun outreach events. In addition to our weekly nights, we have weekend retreats throughout the year for both Junior and Senior Youth, where we learn, have fun, build friendships and are challenged in our spiritual journeys. We also have a bi-annual mission trip with our Senior Youth.

Junior Youth (grades 6-8) meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00pm
Senior Youth (grades 9-12) meets weekly on Thursdays at 7:00pm.

Young Adults

We gather, grow and go through gatherings that include fun activities together, social events, service nights and bible studies together. Our goal is to build strong connections between the young people of the church and provide opportunities for growth wherever we are.
Young Adults (18-25) meet the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month from 7-9pm.
